Rattlers Rally Late to Take Down Brandeis, 7–5

Thursday, April 23, 2026 – The Reagan Rattlers delivered a clutch performance on Thursday, battling back to secure a 7–5 victory over Brandeis at Northeast Sports Park.

Reagan wasted no time getting on the board in the first inning, using aggressive baserunning and smart at-bats to take an early lead. Will Van Wisse sparked the offense with a double, and the Rattlers capitalized on opportunities to plate multiple runs.

After Brandeis briefly took the lead in the fifth, the Rattlers responded immediately with a decisive rally in the bottom half of the inning. Patience at the plate proved key, as Reagan drew walks and executed productive at-bats to reclaim control of the game.

On the mound, Evrick Paulino shut the door in relief to earn the win, allowing no hits over 1⅓ innings. Connor Pictrowski gave the Rattlers a strong start, striking out four over 4⅔ innings, while Sebastian Sipe closed things out to secure the save.

Offensively, the Rattlers tallied nine hits, with Van Wisse leading the way from the heart of the lineup with two RBIs in a 2-for-3 performance.
