Friday, April 27, 2026 – The Reagan Rattlers showcased resilience and timely execution on Friday, April 27th, at Northeast Sports Park, building a strong early lead and holding firm late to earn a hard-fought 6–5 victory over Clark.

Reagan set the tone in the second inning when Caine Chapman delivered a key single that brought home two runs, giving the Rattlers an early edge. Clark answered to tie the game in the fourth, but Reagan quickly regained control.

In the fifth inning, the Rattlers surged ahead 6–2 with a combination of smart hitting and pressure on the bases. Karsten Holman and Will Van Wisse each came through with RBI singles, while aggressive play forced Clark into costly errors that added to Reagan’s advantage.

On the mound, Tony Gilbreath delivered a steady performance to earn the win, allowing just one hit and two runs (one earned) over three and one-third innings while striking out three. Zach Hopkins locked down the save, with Sebastian Sipe contributing in relief to help secure the victory.

At the plate, Chapman led the way with two hits in three at-bats from the leadoff spot. Ricky Armstrong added speed on the bases with two steals as part of a four-steal effort by the Rattlers. Defensively, Reagan also came up big with a key double play.

Despite a late push from Clark, the Rattlers’ early offensive burst and composed finish proved to be the difference in another strong showing for Reagan.
