August 19, 2017 – The Lady Rattlers took 2nd place in the Fraulein Volleyfest in New Braunfels, losing only the final match to the O’Connor Panthers (25-10, 24-26, 19-25). Over the 3 day tournament, the Rattlers defeated Canyon (25-19, 21-25, 25-17), Rouse (25-17, 25-19), Friendswood (25-22, 25-23), New Braunfels (25-13, 25-20), Georgetown (25-9, 25-20), Ridge Point (25-13, 25-22), East View (25-17, 25-15), and Magnolia (25-22, 25-17).
After their outstanding performances, the following Reagan Seniors were named to the All-Tournament Team:
- Camryn Ennis, Setter/Outside Hitter (O/H)
- Elissa Barbosa, O/H, Defensive Specialist
- Lydia Niebla, Libero/Defensive Specialist

Reagan ended the tournament 8-1 and is now 19-1 overall for the season.
