Rattlers go 4-1 in Jack Frost Tournament, win bronze bracket

December 3, 2022

The varsity boys basketball team traveled to Georgetown this weekend to compete in the 43rd Annual Jack Frost Tournament. With a 2-1 record after pool play on Thursday and Friday, the Rattlers ended up in a three-way tie with Round Rock and Leander for first place in their pool. The teams were placed into brackets based on point differentials, which ultimately put Reagan into the bronze bracket.

This morning, the Rattlers defeated Lake Travis 44-33 to advance to the final game where they took on the host team, Georgetown. Reagan came out strong against the Eagles, establishing an early lead and never looking back. Scoring contributions from multiple players coupled with strong defense pushed Reagan to a 65-51 victory. Way to go boys!

Congratulations to junior Aidan Richard and senior Luke Price for being recognized with All Tournament Team honors.

Reagan Hoops kicks off district play versus Clark on Tuesday at 7:30.  Come out to Northside Gym to support the Rattlers!

Good luck boys! Strike ‘em!
