Saturday, May 4, 2025 – The Rattlers clinched the Division I Bi-District Championship on Saturday after defeating Warren 6-0 at Northeast Sports Park in round one of the 27-6A playoffs. The win was thanks in part to four runs in the second inning.
Dylan Gonzales drew a walk, scoring one run, and Caleb Crider tripled, scoring three runs. Kaleb Rogers hit an inside the park home run, scoring two runs in the bottom of the third.
Zach Hopkins earned the win for the Rattlers. The starter allowed four hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out six and walking one.
Crider went 1-for-3 at the plate and led the team with three runs batted in. Rogers, Crider, and Karsten Holman each collected one hit for the Rattlers. The Rattler defense turned two double plays in the game.
The Rattlers will start round two against Round Rock this week with a best-of-three game series. Game dates and times are currently to be determined. Check the varsity baseball schedule page on RattlerSports.com for updates on game times and locations.
