Friday, April 24, 2026 – The Reagan Rattlers rose to the moment on Friday, delivering a commanding 15–4 win over Johnson in a playoff matchup to secure the district championship at Northeast Sports Park.
With the title on the line, Reagan wasted no time asserting control. The Rattlers got on the board early and then broke the game open with a seven-run third inning, using a mix of timely hitting, patience at the plate, and relentless pressure to build a commanding lead.
The offensive surge continued into the fourth inning, where Reagan added another big frame, highlighted by a grand slam by Karsten Holman that put the game firmly out of reach and showcased the team’s ability to capitalize in key moments.
Production came from throughout the lineup, including a strong showing from the bottom half. Dylan Sabariego, Jayden Gomez, and Ollie Wetherell combined for five hits, six runs scored, and five RBIs, underscoring the Rattlers’ depth and balance at the plate.
On the mound, Sebastian Sipe delivered a steady performance to earn the win, allowing just one unearned run over three innings. Connor Pictrowski added a scoreless inning in relief to help close things out.
