Yesterday Reagan Boys Varsity took FIRST PLACE out of 23 teams at the Charger Classic, scoring 244 team points – an incredible 96 more than the second place team. Girls Varsity took THIRD PLACE out of 24 teams, racking up 123 team points. “This shows it will be a great season,” Coach Paul Miller said. “The wrestlers have been working really hard and we have a very Senior team – I am proud of these Seniors that have put four years of hard work in.”
Senior NATHAN ALMAGUER (165#) went 4-0 and took FIRST PLACE scoring 30 team points.

On Friday our Junior Varsity Team also cleaned house at Churchill. FIRST PLACE: Adam Aguirre, Ben Brown, Taylor Donahue, Noah Hyslop, Kaiser Jabbour, Dresden Majuta, Marcos Pimentel, David Rodriguez, Grant Schnieders, Akali Singh, and Julian Torres. SECOND PLACE: Aaron Arreola, Tristen Bekken, Henry Guzman, and Luke Hall. THIRD PLACE: Colin Busby, Jasper Shoesmith, and Duane Schlottke. FOURTH PLACE: Trip Davenport and Sebastian Rangel.
Next up for the Rattlers is a Varsity Quad-Dual meet vs. New Braunfels, South Grand Prairie and Westside on Tuesday, November 22nd at New Braunfels Middle School, start time 9:00am. The team will watch everyone else eat the rest of Thanksgiving week, and come back to prepare to host a Tri-Dual meet vs. Smithson Valley and rival Johnson on Thursday, December 1st at 4pm in the Rattler Den.
