Rattlers Capture Win In Thrilling Showdown Against Clark

Friday, April 18th, 2025 – The Rattlers beat Clark 6-5 on Thursday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at five in the bottom of the sixth when Karsten Holman singled, scoring one run.

A sacrifice bunt by Bodie Weyman put the Rattlers on the board in the bottom of the first.

In the top of the second inning, Clark went back into the lead after they singled down the left field line, and doubled to left field, scoring two runs.

Clark added one run in the third to right field.

The Rattlers tied the game in the bottom of the fifth thanks to an error, and a single by Darden Wetherell.

Zach Hopkins earned the win for the Rattlers. The pitcher surrendered two hits and one run over four innings, striking out three and walking none. Kaleb Rogers started on the mound where he surrendered five hits and four runs over three innings, striking out four and walking five.

Weyman drove the middle of the lineup, leading the Rattlers with two runs batted in. Ricky Armstrong went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Rattlers in hits. Isaiah Robledo stole two bases. The Rattlers ran wild on the base paths, collecting four stolen bases for the game. The Rattler defense didn’t commit a single error in the field. Holman had the most chances in the field with 10.

The Rattlers will play at home on Thursday, April 24th against Brandeis at Northeast Sports Park at 5:00 p.m.
