Today senior Jenna Maltbie signed her national letter of intent to wrestle for Schreiner University in Kerrville, Texas. Jenna is a four-year Reagan Wrestler letterman.
Her senior season Jenna turned in a record of 14-18 with 9 pins. At the Volunteer Invitational, Jenna placed 4th to help lead the girls to their 1st place finish.
For the 2022-2023 season, the Mountaineers qualified 4 athletes for the National Tournament. This is what Schreiner Head Coach Tarkyia Mensah has to say about where she sees Jenna fitting in to their team culture, “We’re a young team and we’re pursuing greatness. Already I see that Jenna looks past herself and thrives to be better. That’s what we’re about. I’m hoping to see that she leads by example and is patient but passionate about what she does academically, athletically, and personally too.”
