Chris McKendall has signed his national letter of intent to play football for NCAA Division III Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas.
McKendall, who plays wide receiver for the Rattlers, was injured junior year and had his season cut short. In 2024, he came roaring back, scoring All-District Honorable Mention honors and securing an ability to play at the next level.
“Chris McKendall is the face of perseverance”, Coach Hamilton said. “He has definitely faced adversity in his four years at Reagan.”
“He never quit and he never gave up on his dreams and now here we are headed to play at the collegiate level. He had an amazing senior year after numerous injuries and he has a bright future with Hardon-Simmons.”
“He has hands like glue and a heart of gold. Keep Striking at the next level, Chris”, Coach added.
