Caleb Cappuccio has committed to play football for the US Air Force Academy at the Reagan singing ceremony on February 5th in the Rattler Gym.
Caleb has been a super-versatile, three-year starter for the Rattlers and will make a valuable contribution to Air Force.
“Cap has been an integral part of Reagan’s athletic success over the last four years,” said Coach Lyndon Hamilton.
“He started making an impact as a freshman on the Varsity baseball team and within the Varsity track program. He was pivotal within our football program for three years as a starter at quarterback and receiver.”
We will miss this young man but we know the best is yet to come as he represents his family and the Stone Oak community at the Air Force Academy. He has impeccable character, competes on and off the fields of play and we will miss him.”
“Keep shining bright #14!”
Cappuccio’s sophomore season he went 8-0 at quarterback, led the team to a district championship, and was named District 28-6A Offensive Newcomer of the Year.
His junior season he played wide receiver, accumulated over 1,000 yards receiving, helped win a second district championship, and was named First Team All-District Wide Receiver.
He started his senior year at wide receiver, moved back to quarterback midway through the season, helped the team advance to the playoffs, and earned Academic All-State honors.
Cappuccio is also a multi-year letterman on the Reagan baseball and track teams. He was part of the Reagan state-finalist baseball team in 2022, and was a 2023 6A track & field state championship qualifier in the 4×100 relay.
