San Antonio has experienced record heat this summer; but that has not stopped the Rattler runners from pounding pavement and hitting the trails. Miles upon miles these athletes have logged with a dedication that inspires shock and awe.
This past week RRHS held the season’s Time Trial at Northeast Sports Park. Family and friends came out to cheer the runners on. When asked to comment about this upcoming season, Head Coach Rachel Freeman said “It was a great morning to be a Rattler! The athletes came out and set the tone for the season with positive attitudes, lots of excitement, and great competition from all. We are excited to continue working hard towards our goals. Consistency is key!”
You can cheer on these amazing athletes at their first meet, Saturday, August 12th at 8am. Meet will be hosted by Pieper Highschool.
