February 4, 2017 – The Reagan Men’s and Women’s swimming and diving team both won Regionals – Men by 27.5 points and Women by 118.5 points! Reagan swimmers Zach Yeadon and Hannah Feng were awarded Men and Women “Swimmers of the Year,” respectively. Senior Zach Yeadon set a Region VII and Davis Pool record in the 500 Freestyle, the Men’s 200 Medley Relay, consisting of Brandon Garcia, Connor McClure, Nick Jozwiak and Zach Yeadon, set a Region VII record, and the Men’s 400 Freestyle Relay, consisting of Beau Tipton, Nick Jozwiak, Zach Yeadon and Brandon Garcia, set a Region VII and Davis Pool record. The Reagan Aquatics team produced 8 individual and 4 relay Region Champions, and will be sending the top 2 finishers in each event on to the State 6A Swimming and Diving Championships on Friday and Saturday, February 17th and 18th.
