February 2, 2019 – The Reagan Women’s and Men’s swimming and diving team won Gold and Silver, respectively, at today’s Region VII-6A Championship meet. The Women’s team placed 1st with 424 points to Johnson’s second place finish with 246 points. The Men’s team placed 2nd by 7 points to Smithson Valley. With scores combined, Reagan won with 720 points, with Smithson Valley placing 2nd with 462 points.
Coach Sansavera was awarded Women’s “Coach of the Year”. The Reagan Aquatics team produced 4 individual and 3 relay Region Champions, and will be sending the top 2 finishers in each event on to the UIL State Class 6A Swimming and Diving Championships on Friday and Saturday, February 15th and 16th at UT.
