Today, the Reagan Aquatics Men’s State team ended their season with OUTSTANDING results – Gold medal, multiple school records and multiple Top-16 finishes at the UIL Class 6A State Swim and Dive Championships! The Men’s team took 10th overall.
Senior Luke Prior captured Gold in the 50 Yard Freestyle and set a new Reagan record – breaking his own 2021 Region 6A-VII school record which broke the 2008 Reagan record set by Paul Leonhardt.
The Aquatics team also set a new Reagan record in the Men’s 200 Yard Medley Relay – Senior Nikolai Nelson, Junior Kevin Cai, Senior Len Ray, Senior Luke Prior – breaking their own 2021 Region 6A-VII school record which broke the 2017 Reagan record set by Brandon Garcia, Connor McClure, Nick Jozwiak and Zach Yeadon.
Junior Marcel Mateos Salles scored 6th Place in the Men’s Diving Championships, topping his prior Finals placements at State in his Freshman and Sophomore years.

200 Yard Medley Relay: Nikolai Nelson, Kevin Cai, Len Ray, Luke Prior – 6th (new Reagan record)
200 Yard Individual Medley: Kevin Cai – 15th
50 Yard Freestyle: Luke Prior – 1st (new Reagan record)
100 Yard Breaststroke: Kevin Cai – 5th
