Mya Allen to Play Volleyball at Saint Mary’s College of California

Reagan Volleyball’s Mya Allen signed her Letter of Commitment today to play volleyball
at Saint Mary’s College of California, a NCAA Division 1 program and member of the
West Coast Conference.
Mya is a four year Varsity Letterman for Reagan Volleyball. As an Outside Hitter for the
Rattlers, Mya celebrated her 2000th career kill this season, the 7th player in San Antonio
to earn this. She also celebrated her 1000th career dig this season. Mya has been a
significant contributor to Reagan volleyball since her Freshman year, when she was
awarded 28-6A Second Team All-District. In her Sophomore year, she was awarded 28-
6A 1 st Team All-District. In her Junior year, she was awarded the John Turner Classic All
Tournament Team, Fraulein Fest Tourney All Tournament Team, Express News Game
Ball (2x recipient), 1000 Career Kills, AVCA Phenom Watch List, Texas Volleyball
Insider Player of the Week, 6A All-State, 5A/6A All-Star, 28-6A Offensive Player of the
Year, and set a new school record with 766 kills in the season. In her Senior season this
year, she was awarded John Turner Classic All Tournament Team, 28-6A 1 st Team All
District, 28-6A MVP, THSCA Super Elite Offensive Player of the Year, Express News
Super Team All-Area 6A, TGCA 6A All State, TGCA 6A Legacy All Star, AVCA 2 nd Team
All-American, and Express News Player of the week.
Mya also plays club volleyball for Alamo Volleyball. In her Sophomore year, her Alamo
Volleyball club team won the Girls Junior National Championships 15 Open Division,
and Mya was awarded GJNC All-Tournament Team. In her Junion year, Mya played with
San Antonio Juniors, where they placed 7 th at the GJNC in the USA Division, and she
was awarded the GJNC 17 All-American Tournament Team.
