Senior Leila Reyes signed her letter of intent to continue her softball career with Weatherford College in Weatherford, Texas at Reagan’s National Signing Day event on Wednesday.
Leila has played catcher and third base for the Rattlers. She will finish her high school career as a three-year letter winner and Team Captain. Last season, Leila earned the Rattler Spirit Award from the Reagan Coaching staff for her grit and determination.
When asked about Leila, Reagan’s Head Coach, Lana Bowers, commented, “Leila is the epitome of dedication and passion for the game. Her work ethic, leadership, and relentless pursuit of excellence have not only made her a standout player, but an inspiration to her teammates. Watching her grow both on and off the field has been a privilege, and I have no doubt she’ll continue to make a lasting impact at the next level. Leila, your future is incredibly bright, and this is just the beginning.”
