Lady Rattlers Soccer’s Jenna Salazar commits to Fort Lewis College

February 2, 2023

Today Lady Rattlers senior forward Jenna Salazar signed her national letter of intent to play soccer for Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. Jenna is a three-year Reagan Soccer letterman.

During her junior season, the Lady Rattlers made a deep run into the playoffs to the Regional Final (Elite Eight), and Jenna was named All-District Second Team – Forward.

In addition to Reagan Soccer, Jenna plays with the San Antonio Slayers semi-professional women’s indoor soccer team. For the 2021-2022 season, Jenna helped lead her club team to an ECNL-RL Texas Conference league championship and the ECNL-RL Regional Tournament championship final.

With a 4.0 GPA, Jenna will graduate Summa Cum Laude. She is a member of the Forensics Club and Paws Cause Club. She was named Academic All-District in 2021 and 2022 and will be named Academic All-State and Academic All-District in her senior season. Jenna plans to major in forensic science.

Here is what Fort Lewis Head Coach Damian Clarke has to say about Jenna, “We are excited to bring Jenna into our program. I think we are fortunate to bring in a good goal scoring player this late in the cycle. I think we see some really good use of space in her playing style, coupled with deception and a knack for finishing her chances.”
