Today, Lady Rattlers senior midfielder Fabiola Ayala Rivera signed her official letter of intent to play soccer for the University of Redlands in Redlands, California. Fabiola moved to San Antonio from Camp Zama, Japan, where she played varsity basketball and soccer and won championships with both teams. She will graduate from Reagan Magna Cum Laude and will be Academic All-District and Academic All-State for the 2022 season.
Here’s what the University of Redlands Head Coach Suzette Soboti has to say, “We are ecstatic at the commitment of Fabiola Ayala Rivera to the University of Redlands Women’s soccer team. I am excited to see how Fabi brings her attacking flair and love of the game to the culture of our team. We are looking forward to welcoming all of the Ayala Riveras into our Bulldog Family.”
