Today, Lady Rattlers senior midfielder Jadis Kirk, signed her official letter of intent to play soccer for San Diego State University. Jadis is a four-year letterman and 2021 team captain. Jadis earned All-District First Team honors in both her sophomore and junior years and was also All-Region Second Team her junior year. As a freshman, Jadis scored the game-winning goal in the Lady Rattlers 2-1 Area playoff victory. She has also been named Academic All-District and will graduate summa cum laude with an impressive 107.2 (4.29) GPA.
Here’s what San Diego State Head Coach Mike Friesen is saying about Jadis: “We are really excited to have Jadis coming to our program. She brings a lot of speed and attacking ability and we are excited to see her add to our program. We are a very culture driven program and believe in Jadis’ ability to add to our culture as well. She has a great work ethic and a fantastic personality!” Jadis is joining a successful San Diego State program with 8 Mountain West Conference championships, 7 Mountain West Conference tournament championships, and 7 NCAA tournament appearances, including a trip to the Sweet 16.
