Your Lady Rattlers finished first in District 27-6A, running the table and going undefeated in district games, 14-0 for the first time in Reagan girls’ basketball history. They finished up with Roosevelt on February 7th and LEE on February 11th.
The Roosevelt game was led by S. Wagner with 15pts/9reb/3asst/4stls, and followed by C. Iwuala with 11pts/7reb/4blks. Additional scoring came from N. Wilson with eight, J. Martinez with six, B. Duran with five and C. Ruffin with four. K. Hawkins added four assists.
The LEE game was an incredibly balanced scoring night for the starters, with C. Iwuala leading the way with 17pts/6reb/2asst, followed by K.Hawkins with 14pts/4reb/5asst/4stls. S. Wagner and N. Wilson both had 10 points, and Wagner added 7reb/5asst/2stls/2blks, while Wilson added 2reb/3stl to the stat line.
Playoffs kick off next week, with The Lady Rattlers first opponent, the Holmes Huskies of NISD on Tuesday, February 18th at 6:00pm at BAC.
