Kyle Totorica Commits to Xavier University – D1 Tennis Team

Kyle Totorica began his tennis career at a very early age and has not disappointed in his commitment to the sport.  His work ethic on and off the court have stood him in good stead as he commits as a Five Star recruit to Xavier University, Cincinnati , Ohio for the class of 2022.

Since an early age, Kyle has exhibited a high Tennis IQ and has competed at the top tier of Texas tennis throughout his Junior career. Prior to Kyle joining Reagan he had already established himself as one of the top players in the state. He went on to win the Texas Grand Slam in 2018(the biggest junior tennis tournament in the country) at the age of 14, and firmly cemented his status as a top 5 player in possibly the strongest tennis state in the US. Here is a list of the extensive list of achievements prior to making this all important step in his college career:

During his time as a Reagan Rattler, the team has amassed a string of incredible wins with Kyle as a valued member of the team. Below are some of the teams achievements during his tenure on the team as a Reagan Rattler:

As mentioned, not only has Kyle performed on the court, but his hard work academically off the court is also worth a mention. He has achieved a 4.3 weighted GPA for his first 3 years at Reagan High School. This is tantamount to his desire to succeed at all he has done on and off the court.

Kyle further added to his profile by being recognized locally in San Antonio by the San Antonio Express News as the Player of the Year 2019, 2021 and also as part of the All Area Tennis recognition in 2019. Furthermore he was recognized as a top 50 Rising Star in  San Antonio 2019 and 2021.

Kyle has not only has exhibited himself academically and with his sporting prowess on the court, but he has been an integral member of the Reagan Varsity Tennis Team, always supporting , cheering and forming valuable friendships with his fellow seniors and team members.. Overall he has proven to be a great team mate, good friend and also a shining example of an older brother to his two younger brothers Jon (Sophomore and Fellow Varsity Tennis Team member) and Ryan (8th Grade). Both his brothers are up and coming Junior players with their own set of exemplary credentials to speak of. Needless to say, tennis is strong in the Totorica Household. Both Kyles parents, Ralph and Owena, are avid tennis players and have passed the legacy onto their kids. Kudos to both Ralph and Owena for raising such a phenomenal young man. A True testament to a great Reagan Family.

Kyle will officially be signing his commitment to Xavier University on Wednesday, November 10th 2021 where he will be sporting the Musketeer banner and colors for 2022.

Good Luck Kyle. Go Xavier & Lets Go Musketeers!!!
