Kyle is a 2-year Varsity letterman in baseball. He has played pitcher and outfield for the Rattlers. He has a 5-0 record on the bump this year with an impressive ERA of 1.05 and a strikeout/walk ratio of 5:1. Kyle had the privilege to pitch in all 4 playoff games last year. Kyle excels in the classroom and will graduate Magna Cum Laude.
Kyle played select ball for the South Texas Sliders for 3 summers as a two-way player – pitching, batting, and playing outfield.
Kyle had this to say about his commitment to Trinity University, “I have played the game of baseball for as long as I can remember. I am thankful for the experience I’ve gotten at Reagan and the teammates I have been able to play with. Now I’m excited for the opportunity to play at Trinity University and pursue a degree in Business. I look forward to developing new relationships with my future teammates and coaches at Trinity.” Coach Chapman made these remarks about Kyle, “Our pitching is fortunately pretty good, and Kyle is a big part of that. He is one of a couple of guys that if we have to, we can go to the bullpen and use him and know that he will give us a chance to win.”
Congratulations to Kyle on achieving the honor of playing college ball and pursuing his education at TU! Follow TU baseball on X @TrinityTigersB2 and IG @trinitytxbaseball.
