Kenny Ozowalu has committed to play football and continue his academic studies with the University of Texas in San Antonio, Texas. The UTSA Roadrunners are part of the American Athletic Conference in NCAA Division 1 Football Bowl Subdivision.
Ozowalu played football all 4 years at Reagan High School, playing the positions of Running Back his freshman and sophomore years, and then moving to Defensive End his junior and senior years. In addition to playing football, Ozowalu also played soccer his freshman year and was part of the track team his sophomore year.
As a Defensive End his senior year, Ozowalu had 47 Tackles, 5.5 Sacks, 21 Tackles for Loss, 41 Quarterback Pressures, 4 Pass Deflections, 2 Forced Fumbles, 2 Fumble Recoveries and 1 Touchdown. Ozowalu helped lead the Reagan Rattlers to an undefeated season, earning the Rattlers the title of 2023 District 28-6A champions. In January 2024, Ozuwalu represented Reagan Football in the San Antonio Sports All-Star game played at the Alamodome. Other notable football accomplishments include:
- 1st team All-District Defensive Lineman by unanimous vote
- 6A All Area Team
- Padilla Poll All State 2nd Team
- Big Defensive Player of the Year
- Academic All State, honorable mention
- District Champions 11th and 12th Grades
- Bi-District Champions 12th grade
