Jonathan Arzu Signs with Dallas Baptist University

Reagan High School proudly recognizes Jonathan Arzu, who has signed his National Letter of Intent to continue his academic and athletic career at Dallas Baptist University, where he will compete in Division II Men’s Soccer.

Jonathan is a 3-year Varsity Letterman and standout defender for the Reagan Rattlers under the direction of Coach Gilbert Villarreal. Known for his consistency, leadership, and defensive strength, Jonathan help catapult the team to a first-place finish in district play earning him Co-District Defensive MVP honors in District 27-6A to cap off his impressive high school soccer career. He is also a two-time Second Team All-District selection, reflecting his continued excellence on the field.

In addition to his success in soccer, Jonathan demonstrated his athletic versatility as a competitor in Track & Field, qualifying twice for Regionals in the 4x400m relay and twice for Area in the Triple Jump. He also lettered in football and track but ultimately chose to pursue his true passion—soccer—at the next level.

Beyond athletics, Jonathan was involved in PALS (Peer Assistance Leadership and Service), where he demonstrated his commitment to service and mentorship within his school community.

Jonathan will be attending Dallas Baptist University, where he plans to major in International Business. His dedication, drive, and leadership have paved the way for a bright future both on and off the field.
