Girls Track & Field crowned REGIONAL CHAMPIONS for the 4th year

Congratulations to our coaches and teammates for earning the 2022 6A Regional Championship! This is the 4th year in a row that Reagan Girls have claimed the title. The girls team won with 110 points while the runner up, Smithson Valley, earned 67 points. The Rattlers are coached by Jennifer McHugh, Head Coach and Assistant Athletic Director, and Assistant Coaches, Rachel Freeman and Stephen Saenz.

There were outstanding performances across the Board from our Rattlers as highlighted:

  • 4X100M Relay: REGIONAL CHAMPIONS Kayla Beach, Taylen Wise, Kiana Douglas, Hunter Simmons 46.22
  • 100M Hurdles: 2nd Isabella Dagrosa 14.83
  • 100M: 5th Hunter Simmons 12.22
  • 4X200M Relay: REGIONAL CHAMPIONS Lauren Brown, Hunter Simmons, Nnenna Opara, Mackenzie Dagrosa 1:38.27
  • 300M Hurdles: REGIONAL CHAMPION Taylen Wise 42.22; and 3rd Isabella Dagrosa 43.63
  • 200M: 5th Mackenzie Dagrosa 24.33
  • 4X400M Relay: 2nd Isabella Dagrosa, Josephine Zink, Nnenna Opara, Mackenzie Dagrosa 3:47.17

6A FIELD EVENTS

  • High Jump Girls: REGIONAL CHAMPION Mackenzie Dagrosa 5-8
  • Long Jump Girls: REGIONAL CHAMPION Taylen Wise 19-1.25
  • Triple Jump Girls: 3rd Taylen Wise 41-1.50
  • Discus Girls: 14th Immaculata Opara 100-9
