Player of the week
Victoria Andrade, Smithson Valley: midfielder, senior — Converted free kick with 1:08 left to play as Rangers defeated New Braunfels 1-0 to move into tie for first place in District 25-6A.
Game balls
Reagan’s Taylor Olson tallied three goals in two games, including game-winner, as Rattlers topped Churchill and MacArthur to secure no worse than tie for their third straight District 26-6A title.
Brandeis’ Samantha Palomino totaled four goals and three assists, figuring in seven of team’s 12 goals as Broncos topped Clark and Taft to capture the District 27-6A title.
