Reagan Girls Basketball player, Juliett Martinez, will continue her academics and play basketball at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio. St. Mary’s is a member of NCAA Division II sports and plays in the Lone Star Conference.
Juliett played basketball for the Lady Rattlers for 4 years, earning her Varsity letters beginning in her sophomore year. This past season, Juliett was named District 27-6A Second Team and Academic All District. She was a starter for the 27-6A District Championship team and part of the team making it the round 3 of the UIL State Championship. During the 2018 season, Juliett was named District 27-6A First Team and Academic All District.
Head Coach Selena Winbush commented, “Juliett was a 3 year varsity letterman who did a lot for our program. The one thing I loved to watch her do was play defense because she was fearless. We are going to miss her.”
She also played select basketball for the SA Finest National Team.
