As part of National Signing Day, Gavin Fonger signed his letter of intent to play Men’s Tennis at Marion Military Institute in Marion, Alabama. Marion Military Institute competes in the NJCAA Division I and the Alabama Community College and National Junior College Athletic Association.
Gavin started playing tennis at 3 years old before turning his attention to other sports. He finally returned to tennis in the sixth grade, competing in middle school, winning two District Championships, and USTA tournaments.
He is a four-year Varsity letterman at Reagan and has been part of 4 straight District Championships. Over the years, Gavin has been named to three Academic All-District teams.
In addition to playing competitive tennis, Gavin manages a small business while also working part-time teaching tennis to children.
