April 29, 2024

Ernesto M. Gonzalez-Molina committed to play Men’s Tennis and will continue his academic career at Schreiner University in Kerrville, Texas.  Schreiner University is an NCAA Division III University in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.

Ernesto began to play tennis when he was 12 years old, as he shifted his attention away from playing other sports.  He competed on the Lopez Middle School team winning two district championships as well as winning USTA and UTR tournaments along the way.

As a two-year Varsity Letterman, he was First Year District Finalist and contributed to securing Reagan’s 10th and 11th consecutive District Championship, while maintaining at the top 100 tennis players in Texas for the Class of 2024.

Coach Daniel said, “I am really pleased with the improvement Ernesto has shown through his Reagan career, and I am equally excited to see how he will continue to improve at Schreiner.”
