January 18, 2022 – The Rattler Divers kicked off the District 26-6A Swimming and Diving Championships tonight with a decisive showing. Five Reagan divers will advance to the Region VII Class 6A Diving Championship meet on February 4-5, 2022.
In the women’s competition, three divers will advance to the Region meet. Freshman Caroline Holcomb finished in first place, Junior Andrea Palacios was third and Freshman Andie Torres was sixth.
Seniors Marcel Mateos-Salas placed first and Simon Dean placed third in the men’s competition.
Reagan claimed both Diver of the Meet accolades with Caroline Holcomb earning the title for the women and Marcel Mateos-Salas claiming the honor for the men.
The swimmers take the pool this Saturday, January 22 at 11am to continue the District competition.
