Reagan Diver Caroline Holcomb earned a silver medal with her 2nd place finish at the Region VII Class 6A Diving Championship meet on February 8. The top three divers in each category advance to the Texas Class 6A State Competition in Austin, Texas on February 23-24.
With a score of 419 points, Caroline, a junior on the varsity swim and dive team, will represent Reagan in 1 meter diving at the State diving championship for the 3rd year in a row!
Congratulations to all three of our Region qualifying divers. Out of 16, highly competitive divers at Regions, freshman Chloe Ruan placed 7th with 319 points and sophomore Ryan Martinez placed 10th with 282 points.
What a great start for the Rattlers at the 2024 Region Competition. Stay tuned as swimming preliminaries start Fri., Feb. 9 and conclude with finals on Sat., Feb. 10.
