Congratulations to Senior Football player Trey Laurence, LB #33, for being awarded the NEISD Student Athlete of the Week by KCWX-TV. Trey was interviewed by legendary and former NEISD Athletic Director Jerry Comalander. It aired during halftime of the Reagan v Johnson rivalry game.
Trey was recognized for his athletic and academic achievements. He is also a Peer Tutor to his friends in the Alternative Learning Environment program. Trey stated his favorite subjects are “AP US History, AP Macro and AP Statistics because I have awesome teachers”.
When asked about his future, Trey responded saying “Right now I am focused on the present, preparing each week for our opponent, because I know that what I achieve now will determine my future.”
