February 7, 2018 -David (DJ) Burton signed today to play Lacrosse with Southern Virginia University in Buena Vista, Virginia.
Burton is a starting defensive specialist that transferred to Reagan Lacrosse this year. Previously, Burton played Lacrosse for Desert Hills High School in St. George, Utah, where he was a 3 year starter and letterman for the Thunder. In the last two years at Desert Hills, he helped his team advance to the State Semi-Finals and Quarter Finals, respectively. Burton plays Long Pole Defense, as well as Long-Stick Midfielder and Short Stick Defensive Middle, in certain schemes. He has played club Lacrosse for 4 years – 3 with Lacrosse Force in Las Vegas, Nevada, and this past year for the San Antonio Tacos.
