The Reagan Boys Golf Team battled treacherous weather conditions on Monday during their first round of the Regional Tournament. After a 4 hour weather delay because of hail and thunderstorms, the Rattlers played in cold weather with strong winds gusting to 40 mph. They found themselves in 4th place going into Tuesday’s final round. Knowing they had to finish in the top 3 to qualify for state, the boys fought hard the final round and finished third. The team was led by Senior Collin Bumpass who shot even par 72, Senior Conner Bjugstad 73 and Junior Ben Getman 75. Other team members were Jon Koeppe and Michael Lebahn. The team heads to the State Tournament at Onion Creek Country Club in Austin on April 28-29.
