December 6, 2018 – The Boys Basketball teams at Reagan are off to a great start in their non-district schedule! Our head coach, John Hirst said, “We are very excited about the progress of the basketball teams at all levels right now. Our varsity squad continues to show improvement each week, and our sub-varsity teams are a combined 10-2 to start the season. We are pleased with the overall toughness and competitiveness in this year’s teams and look forward to seeing how this all translates when we get to district play.”
The varsity team currently is 8-5 and has competed in both the NEISD/NISD and the San Angelo Tournament. They have one tournament and three non-district games on their schedule before district play begins. The JV team is currently 3-1, while the Freshman A team is 4-0 and the Freshman B team is 3-1. All teams begin district play vs Johnson with the sub-varsity teams playing on 12/28 and the varsity tipping off on 12/29.
Coach Hirst is assisted by both Coach Anguiano and Coach Sierra, who coach the JV and Freshmen teams respectively. Read more about these talented Reagan Basketball coaches by CLICKING HERE.
