Tomorrow at 11:30 AM, our Varsity Boys and Girls Cross Country teams will depart for the Regional Meet in Corpus Christi! The competition takes place on Tuesday, October 21st, with the Girls’ race starting at 9:15 AM, followed by the Boys’ race shortly after.
Just ten days ago, both teams punched their tickets to Regionals with impressive performances at the District Meet.
Leading the Girls’ team, senior Theone Glosser claimed 3rd place, followed by junior Reese Sweatman in 9th, and freshman Elly Spurlock in 10th. Their efforts propelled the team to a 2nd place overall finish—and a well-earned trip to Corpus.
On the Boys’ side, sophomore Logan Martinez captured the title of District Champion, with junior Aiden Gendron placing 8th. The team’s strong showing earned them 3rd place overall, securing their spot at Regionals.
Let’s wish the Rattlers the best of luck as they compete for a shot at the State Meet!
