It’s official! I will be continuing to play soccer at Texas A&M International. My soccer journey began at just six years old, when my dad took me to my first soccer practice. I stepped onto the field and discovered a passion that would shape my life. Over the years, that passion turned into dedication, discipline, and an unwavering work ethic. Through countless practices, games, and challenges, I continued to grow—not only as a soccer player, but as a young man. My story is a true reminder that hard work pays off.
I am grateful. First and foremost, I thank God for blessing me with the ability, health, and an incredible support system that has allowed me to play the game I love. My success would not have been possible without Him, and the constant support of my parents, Jimmy and Michelle. They stood by me every step of the way, pushing, encouraging, and believing in me even on the toughest days, always reminding me that one day I would be proud of how far I’d come. Their guidance and sacrifices played a major role in helping me reach this milestone.
Along the way, I was shaped by incredible coaches who challenged me to reach my full potential. My club coaches- Coach Oscar, Coach Nick, and Coach Juan, along with my high school coach, Coach Gilbert- were instrumental in my development as both an athlete and a competitor. Their belief in me, combined with high expectations, helped prepare me for the next level.
That next chapter began when Coach Arias recognized my talent, character, and work ethic. With faith and trust, Coach Arias offered me the opportunity to continue my soccer career at Texas A&M International University. I am honored to join the TAMIU program and excited for the journey ahead.
As I take this next step, I will pursue a degree in business, with plans for a future career in law. My commitment to excellence on the field and in the classroom reflects the same drive that brought me here. My journey proves that dedication, perseverance, and strong support can turn dreams into reality—and this is only the beginning.
