November 14, 2018 – Today, Rattler Senior Shea Burcham (pictured above with her parents, her brother Jake, and her exchange student Isabel) signed her National Letter of Intent to swim in college. Burcham will be swimming for the United States Air Force Academy, an NCAA Division 1 university in Colorado Springs.
Burcham is a 3-year letterman for Reagan Aquatics (and a 2-year letterman at her previous high school) and is a current Team Captain. As a Junior, Burcham was selected for the Express News Class 6A All-Area Team, and for the past 2 years Burcham was named to the Class 6A TISCA All-State Team. Her other swimming accomplishments for the Rattlers include:
- 4x District Champion
- 3x Region Champion
- 5x Texas UIL 6A State Championship Finalist
- NISCA All-American
- Reagan Team Record Holder – 200 Medley Relay, 400 Medley Relay, 100 Backstroke
