The San Antonio Express News has named Reagan Aquatics Senior Alyssa Palacios as Girls’ Diver of the Year for the second year in a row. Palacios finished 7th at the Class-6A State Champs meet, the highest female diving finisher among area competitors. Multiple Reagan Aquatics’ members were named to the Class 6A All-Area Teams for their highest finishes in their events in the area this season:
Class 6A Boys All-Area Team
· Senior Luke Prior – 50 Freestyle – 1st at 6A State
· Junior Kevin Cai – 100 Breaststroke – 5th at 6A State; 200 Individual Medley – 15th at 6A State
Class 6A Girls All-Area Team
· Senior Morgan Bartley – 50 Freestyle – 5th at 6A State; 100 Breaststroke – 1st at 6A State;
· Senior Alyssa Palacios – 1 Meter Diving – 7th at 6A State
· Junior Kaylee Coffey – 500 Freestyle – 14th at 6A State
Also, Seniors Luke Prior and Morgan Bartley were given consideration to the award of Boys and Girls Swimmer of the Year.
