An exciting day for the Reagan Rattlers Varsity Tennis team as we celebrate with Deuce Daniel as he signs for Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa. Deuce joined the Reagan Rattlers as a Sophomore in 2019 after transferring from Churchill High School. Since he joined the team he has been an integral member of the squad representing the Boys Singles, Doubles in all District and Bi-District matches. Here are a few of his highlights:
- 4-Year Varsity Letterman (1 at Churchill, 3 at Reagan)
- 3 District Championships
- 2 Region Quarter Finalist Team Wins
- Senior Year – Boys Line 1 doubles, Line 3 singles
- 2021 District Boys Doubles Champs partnering with Joseph Snyman
- 2021 Region Boys Doubles Quarterfinalist
- Blossom Tennis Center instructor
- Graduating as summa with a GPA over 108 in May 2022
- AP Scholar with distinction
- Diagnosed with Type-1 Diabetes 2020 and successfully adapted to this life changing condition with over 4000 insulin shots self administered
- Named a JDRF South Texas Youth Ambassador 2022
Congratulations to Deuce on all his achievements throughout his high school career. We wish him well in his future endeavors as he heads to Grinnell College to study Statistics and Humanities. Good luck for 2022 and beyond. Lets go Pioneers!
