Our proud Reagan Varsity Tennis Team has done it again!
On Monday, August 31st, on the eve of another hot San Antonio evening, the team headed to Blossom Athletic Center to face Madison High School.
The evening began with doubles play, featuring three boys’ doubles lines, three girls’ doubles lines, and one mixed doubles match. Reagan came out strong from the very beginning, setting the tone for an exciting night of tennis.
On Boys’ Doubles Line 1, our senior players Pablo Alvarez and Nathan Washington took the court. The match began while the boys were still warming up, but it didn’t take long for them to find their rhythm. In no time, Pablo and Nathan were dominating the court and finished with a convincing win.
Right next to them on Girls’ Doubles Line 1 were Iris Wang and Naya Chreitah, who delivered an equally impressive performance. The pair controlled the match from start to finish, securing an amazing 6–3, 6–0 victory.
Reagan continued its momentum across the remaining doubles lines. Finn Thanairongroj and David Lopez represented Reagan on Boys’ Doubles Line 2, while Andres Taylor and Jerry He competed on Line 3. On the girls’ side, Estefania Scanlon and Dhanvi Vagal took the court on Line 2, while Dana Lee and Heidi Wilkinson competed on Line 3.
Rounding out the doubles competition were Ramon Montano and Hallie Crofts, representing Reagan in Mixed Doubles.
One by one, Reagan continued to secure victories, completing a dominant 7–0 sweep in doubles.
Then came singles.
The Reagan players carried the same energy and determination into the singles matches, continuing to build on the team’s momentum. Before long, the score reached an impressive 10–0, sealing another outstanding victory for the Reagan High School Tennis Team!
It was another great day of competition filled with teamwork, determination, and some amazing tennis. Congratulations to the entire team on an incredible performance!
Great job, Rattlers! Keep the momentum going! 🎾🔥
Our next match is against Lee High School on September 9th at Blossom Athletic Center. Come out and support our Reagan Tennis Team—we’ll see you there!
