Thursday, February 26, 2026 – Both teams were strong on the bump on Thursday, but the Rattlers defeated Vandegrift 1-0. Tony Gilbreath started the game on the mound and recorded 21 outs.
The Rattlers didn’t take the lead until later in the game. The game was tied at zero in the bottom of the sixth when Bodie Weyman doubled, scoring one run.
Gilbreath earned the win for the Rattlers. The pitcher surrendered five hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out nine and walking none.
Weyman led the Rattlers with one run batted in. The shortstop went 1-for-3 on the day. Dylan Sabariego, Brody Beck, Jayden Gomez, Karsten Holman, and Weyman each collected one hit.
