Isaiah Robledo is officially committed to continue his baseball career at Western Oklahoma State College in Altus, Oklahoma.
A two-year varsity letterman for the Reagan Rattlers, Robledo has proven to be a versatile and valuable player. Known for his ability to play both infield and outfield, he earned First Team All-District honors for 2024 in the highly competitive 28-6A District, where he was selected unanimously by district coaches.
Robledo’s high school career was highlighted by a memorable run to the UIL Class 6A State Championship in 2022, where Reagan finished as state runners-up. The experience of playing in such high-pressure situations helped shape him into the player and leader he is today.
Rattler head Coach Chans Chapman, praised Robledo’s work ethic and all-around ability:
“Isaiah has a great work ethic and can play multiple positions,” said Chapman. “He is a catalyst on offense for us as well. He will be very successful at the next level.”
Robledo’s impact extends beyond the diamond. Known for his relentless approach at the plate and his selfless, team-first attitude, he has become a key figure within the Rattlers’ program. Whether it’s stepping into a starting position in center field or filling in on the infield, he has always put the team’s needs first.
Off the field, Robledo has earned Academic All-District recognition for the 2023–2024 school year, maintaining a strong balance between athletics and academics.
Robledo will now take his talents to Western Oklahoma State College, where he will join a respected NJCAA program. Western head coach Chris Johnson shared his thoughts on welcoming Robledo to the program, reflecting on their long-standing connection: “Isaiah signing and committing to come play for us here at Western is a bittersweet feeling for me. Being able to coach him since he was in middle school and now having the chance to coach him in college is beyond a blessing for me. From his abilities back then and to the growth and maturity now is something I can’t wait to continue to be a part of. I look forward to having him on campus and having him come be part of the family this fall! Go Pioneers!”
Robledo’s signing is not only a testament to his talent but also to the support and encouragement he’s received along the way. His family shared the following message: “Over the years, I have watched your love for the game shine through with your hard work, resilience, dedication, and passion for baseball. Your tremendous drive to continually improve your skills and get better is truly inspiring. Your determination is something to be admired. And as your mom, I am beyond proud of you and your accomplishments and what’s to come.”
