Friday, April 4th, 2025 – The Reagan Rattlers scored six runs in the fourth inning, which helped them defeat Lee 10-0 on Friday at Northeast Sports Park. Ricky Armstrong singled, scoring one run, Caleb Crider drew a walk, scoring one run, Bodie Weyman doubled, scoring three runs, and Tony Gilbreath singled, scoring one run.
The Rattlers jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Isaiah Robledo hit an inside the park home run, scoring two runs, and Darden Wetherell singled, scoring one run.
Zach Hopkins earned the win for the Rattlers. The starting pitcher allowed one hit and zero runs over five innings, striking out five and walking none. Lee’s starting pitcher went three and two-thirds innings, giving up nine runs on seven hits, striking out one and walking three.
The Rattlers accumulated nine hits in the game. Weyman provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led the Rattlers with three runs batted in. The shortstop went 2-for-3 on the day. Crider, Wetherell, and Weyman each collected two hits.
The Rattlers welcome Churchill on Tuesday, April 8th at Blossom Athletic Complex for their next game.
