Rattler Varsity Boys and Girls had a super season and it’s not over yet. Coming off being crowned the district champions, Reagan’s cross-country heads to Corpus Christi in one week for the regional meet with state qualifications on the line.
District Recap:
Junior, Gavin Chapa, was the overall individual winner and Luke Munoz placing 7th and leading our Varsity boys to the Team Championship. JV boys team earned 4th place with Simon Hajek placing 3rd individually!
Looking to regionals, Senior, Luke Munoz, keeping it real with this quote “Run fast don’t get last.”
We look forward to seeing our Reagan guys run fast!
Our Varsity and JV girl’s teams are District Champions! Katlin Foster and Reese Sweatman placing in the top 10!
Addison Jackson leading her team as the overall individual winner with Paige Opaska (2nd), Aleena Whitehead (4th), Claire Liddell (5th) and Daniela Grimme (10th).
Senior, Katlin Foster, the girls’ top runner this season, is trying to keep the high from district champions going as she and the team enter regionals. Katlin shared that after their team prayer, teammate Noni Glosser, always says “If we put our trust, hope and faith in God He will renew our strength and we will soar on eagles wings.”
Soar high and fast ladies!
Head Coach, Rachel Freeman said “I’m a proud coach! Our kids raced hard, showed heart, and competed against some tough competition. I’m really excited to see our kids race at regionals!
Reagan is definitely the team to watch at regionals.
