In a tightly contested contest the Rattlers came up on the short end losing to the Johnson Jaguars 2-1 in 13 innings.
It was a pitching dual for most of the evening as Aidan Coleman went 8.2 innings, allowing 6 hits, 1 run and 6 strikeouts on the mound and Ryland Rangel went 4 innings, allowing 4 hits, 2 runs, 5 walks and 2 strikeouts.
Luke Sasser knocked in the first run of the game in the top of the ninth inning following consecutive singles by Andrew Ermis and Aidan Coleman.
Ashton Beaird (2 singles) and Caden Roy (1 Double and 1 Single) had multiple hits on the evening. Caleb Cappuccio and Caden Crofts were the only other batters to have a hit in the game, both getting singles.
The Rattlers return to play tonight when they face the Churchill Chargers at the NEISD Sports Park @ 7:15pm.
