SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: Softball’s Cassidy Anderson

May 19, 2020

“It goes by fast, so don’t take it for granted” are key words of advice from Reagan Softball senior, Cassidy Anderson.  As a Four-Year Varsity Letterman, Cassidy has been a driving force on the mound, behind the plate, and at first base.  Cassidy shines on and off the field as she has been awarded Academic All-District for the last two years, is a proud member of the National Honor Society, and will be graduating Summa Cum Laude.

Coach Cupp commented: “Cassidy brings a spark to the field with her energy and personality.  She spent most of her career as the starting catcher and in her senior year, stepped in as part of the pitching staff.  Both roles required her hard work and leadership, and she embraced each with enthusiasm.  Cassidy is going to become a fantastic teacher, bringing life to the students she encounters.  Thank you Cassidy for your contributions to Reagan Softball!”

Cassidy will be attending Texas Tech University in the fall and plans to major in education.  We are so proud of you Cassidy and celebrate you and all of your hard work and dedication!  We will miss you on the field next year, but we are so excited for you and all the brightness your future holds!
