Reagan varsity tennis finished in 4th place in the girls and boys draws in the UTR National High School Event in Waco, TX.  Teams from California, Nevada and Arizona came in for the event.  The Reagan girls beat Kingwood High School 6-1 in the quarter-finals but loss to the Abilene Wylie in the semi-finals 4-5 in a match-up that was decided by 2 points.  With the match tied 3-3, Abilene pulled out 2 matches in 3rd set tie-breakers to seal the victory.  In the playoff for 3rd place, Reagan lost to Nevada.

The Reagan boys beat Episcopal in the quarter-finals after being down 3-4.  Kyle Totorica gave Reagan their 4th win 6-4, 7-6 while Shaan Desai won 7-6, 6-2 in the deciding match.  In the semi-finals the boys lost to the Nevada State Championship team 3-5.  In the playoff for 3rd place, Reagan lost to Jesuit High School.

Overall, it was a great display of talent with college signees on each team faced.
