Chaise Thiel volleyed in the game-winner in the 34th minute off Justin Sukow’s free kick. The score came less than three minutes after Reagan goalkeeper Mauricio Albo saved a penalty kick, denying Johnson (8-4-5, 3-2-3) of its best scoring chance.
Reagan’s Emilio Villarreal converted a penalty kick following a foul in the penalty area in the 45th minute to conclude the scoring.
